US chipmaker Nvidia's revenues increase by 78 percent: "Artificial intelligence is advancing at the speed of light"

Nvidia announced its financial results for the 3-month period ending on January 26, which it accepts as the fourth quarter of its 2025 fiscal year on its balance sheet. Accordingly, the company's revenue in the said period increased by 78 percent annually to $39.3 billion. Increasing its revenue by 12 percent compared to the previous quarter, Nvidia had earned $22.1 billion in the same period last year. Market expectations were for Nvidia's revenue to be $38.05 billion in this period. Nvidia's revenue increased by 114 percent in fiscal 2025, reaching $130.5 billion. The chipmaker announced its revenue expectation for the current quarter as $43 billion. THE COMPANY’S PROFIT INCREASED BY 80 PERCENT Nvidia’s net profit also increased by 80 percent annually in the quarter in question, reaching $22.1 billion. The company’s net profit was recorded as $12.3 billion in the same period last year. Nvidia’s earnings per share, which was 49 cents in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, also increased to 89 cents in this period. The company’s profit also exceeded market expectations. “ ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS PROGRESSING AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT” Nvidia’s Founder and CEO Jensen Huang described the demand for the artificial intelligence chip Blackwell as “fantastic” in his statement regarding the financial results. Stating that they have successfully accelerated the large-scale production of Blackwell AI supercomputers, Huang stated that they achieved billions of dollars in sales in the first quarter. Huang made the following assessment: “As agentic AI and physical AI pave the way for the next wave of AI that will revolutionize the largest industries, AI is advancing at the speed of light.”
